Thursday morning. Star runs after Chen with only one sock. Let’s go back to seven: “Mom! Where is my sock?” Her other socks are in the wash. The Star Squad looks in the blanket and on the sofa, and finds three blocks and one cookie.
Oh no, it’s seven thirty! Breakfast, teeth, bag! Star goes to school with one sock, and one cold foot all day. At home, Mochi has a sock. The cat hid socks, Mom’s pen and Chen’s red car!
Now Star makes a plan: “First I eat. Then I brush my teeth.” She guesses the minutes, then “Ready, set, GO!” to check. Her smart idea: pack the bag tonight and put socks in shoes. The next morning at seven thirty, Star is ready: “Check, please!”
